‘Skincare from the heart of the Burren’
With the Burren on their doorstep, couple Kevin Lynch and Tina Robinson have no shortage of inspiration for their Airmid soap and skincare products.
The couple who live in Kilfenora, County Clare have launched a new range of luxury body and perfume oils; ‘Cliff,’ Meadow’ and ‘Forest’ Organic Perfume Oils and ‘Woodland Walk’ Tranquil Island, Wild Garden body oils – all with nature at the heart of their design.
“Our new luxury body oils and organic perfume oil are the highest quality, with amazing aroma, developed with a perfumer. Keeping with our sustainable ethos all packaging is designed and printed in Ireland on FSC certified sustainable stock.” said Tina.
The company also offer a range of natural skin care products including award winning hand-made soap as well as lotion bars, shampoos and lip balm. Their products are specially formulated for sensitive skin and contain no parabens, fragrances or artificial colours.
“A great deal of care goes into creating our products and where we can, we shop local for our ingredients. Our raw honey and beeswax come from right here in the Burren; we clean it in our workshop to maintain purity”, commented Kevin.
“At Airmid, we only use the traditional cold process method when making soap. That means we keep all the goodness of the ingredients in the final product. All our soap bars are cut by hand and are cured for at least six weeks to ensure a luxury, long-lasting product.
The couple also check every item before it’s boxed up in eco-friendly packaging.
“We have recently redesigned our packaging so that you can both see and smell our natural products, without the need to open them up.
“We have held on to one principle as we have grown our range: if it doesn’t come from nature, you won’t find it in any of our Airmid products. It’s that simple.” said Kevin.
The company recently won soap business of the year in the 2020 prestige awards.
