From Mexico to Miami - Bagatelle expands and refines its contemporary dining offer in the Americas
Considered a trailblazer of international dining, the Bagatelle Group has been a reference in French contemporary cuisine since 2008. After successfully exporting Mediterranean-influenced food infused with French culinary know-how to a host of luxury destinations around the world, the global hospitality group is set to open, or reopen, several restaurants across the Americas, that are sure to inspire the culinary cognoscenti, from Miami and Mexico to St. Barths.
Since the appointment of Rocco Seminara as its Corporate Executive Chef in 2021, the Bagatelle Group has cooked up a new culinary experience across its different restaurants internationally. Outside of the kitchen, renowned French designer Sam Baron has remodelled some of the restaurant interiors with his flair for incorporating local influences with the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera, an aesthetic that is at the core of Bagatelle’s DNA.
In 2022, Bagatelle is bringing a distinctly Mediterranean flavour to the Americas, whether it’s the South Beach chic of Miami or the tropical luxury of the Caribbean.
Bagatelle Miami – USA
Bagatelle Miami will open mid-December within The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, an oceanfront luxury hotel and Art Deco landmark, quintessential of Miami’s rich cultural heritage.
Designer Sam Baron has been entrusted with the interiors of the 200-seat venue, which includes a conservatory, bar, main dining room and 16-seat private dining space.
The seasonally changing menu, curated by Rocco Seminara and Jimmy de Almeida, will feature an eclectic and diverse selection highlighting Bagatelle’s signature culinary creation alongside new dishes inspired by local harvests.
Bagatelle Los Cabos – Mexico
Located on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula, the brand new Bagatelle Los Cabos is the latest edition to the group’s growing portfolio of fine dining establishments in the Americas. Opening on December 20, the interior has been conceived by award-winning designer Filipao Nunes and Chef Marco Estrada has designed a menu evocative of Mediterranean-meets-Mexican cuisine.
Bagatelle St. Barths – St. Barths
A coveted getaway on the exclusive yet vibrant island in the French West Indies, Bagatelle St. Barths has undergone a complete renovation for the 2021-22 season, breathing a new lease of life into the iconic restaurant.
Coinciding with Bagatelle St. Barths’ 10th anniversary, Corporate Executive Chef Rocco Seminara and chef Jules Prosnot have curated a menu that fuses the generous flavours of French Mediterranean cuisine with local Caribbean influence. Guests can expect lavish and gourmet dishes, accompanied by a list of fine and vintage wines that have been perfectly paired to complement the sophisticated culinary creations.
For the revamped interior, Sam Baron has intricately united Bagatelle’s visual aesthetic with traditional elements of the island’s style, encapsulating the essence of understated coastal luxury.
Bagatelle Tulum – Mexico
Nestled discretely on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Bagatelle Tulum opened in December 2020 and is testament to Chef Marco Tonello’s quest to find the finest quality products to create a Mediterranean menu inspired by local culinary culture.
Combining the charm of the French Riviera and the bohemian atmosphere of the Riviera Maya, this elegant eatery has been designed in a multitude of spaces, where you can enjoy a festive afternoon on the day beds at the Beach Club or share lunch or dinner under the warm Mexican sun,
